Comba Network Delivers High-Performance 4G+5G Active DAS Solution for Large Sports Venue in Singapore

Singapore, June 2024 – Comba Network Systems Company Limited ("Comba Network"), a subsidiary of Comba Group, in collaboration with a leading system integrator in Singapore, has been selected to deliver a comprehensive turnkey mobile solution aimed at enhancing capacity at a major sports venue in the APAC region. This solution provides seamless 4G and 5G coverage, enabling mobile operators to offer the latest 5G technology to subscribers, visitors, retailers, and event organizers within the sports venue.
The project, designed with Comba Network’s advanced Active Distributed Antenna System (DAS), ComFlex Pro, supports multi-operator, multi-band, and multi-RAT configurations, with flexible options for 2x2 MIMO and 4x4 MIMO, ensuring robust 4G and 5G connectivity throughout the venue. Available in both high-power and low-power configurations and covering frequency bands from 700 to 3500 MHz, the system guarantees comprehensive coverage and adaptability to various indoor environments. Notably, during major events such as concerts, the system excels in both uplink and downlink throughput, providing an uninterrupted user experience.
Comba Network, along with its local partner, was responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of the complete system. The project encompasses a national stadium, a shopping mall, additional sports arenas, and car parks. The first phase will target the stadium area, with the second phase extending to the remaining buildings. Completion of the entire project is scheduled to 2024.
